Information and report Every investigation concludes with a report being made public. The time taken before release of the report depends on the complexity of the report and the investigators workload. In the case of a very serious accident, a preliminary factual report is issued in the weeks following the event. In addition, the BEA keeps the principal partners in aviation safety (the DGAC, manufacturers, operators) informed regularly in the course of the investigation. Reports are published and distributed by the Communication section. Safety recommendations When problems are identified , the BEA addresses safety recommendations to the organisations concerned. These recommendations are included in the report. Statistics and data The Study Division works on data resulting from investigations to perform analyses and keep statistics.
